Thursday 12th February - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – mainly cloudy.

As we have booked to go to the French mountains in March for the first time in 6 years we had to go to Halfords in Ipswich to sort out a roof rack and were helped by a very nice lady:) We then went and parked at the end of the waterfront for a walk, at the end of the marina we headed towards the town centre doing a circuit of the Willis building the famous glass building, still looking stuning considering it was build in the 70’s I think! Then up to the Cornhill to wave at people from around the world in the portal:) We walked past the impressive Ipswich minister before carrying up to Christchurch Park walking round a couple of lakes, spotting a few squirrels, we had hoped to have a coffee at the café at the mansion but could not get a seat so headed down to The Church, music venue, café, bar and record shop which is actually managed by a friend near the bus station where we had a coffee and cake! We then returned to the waterfronnnt and back to the van after walking over 4 miles! We then had a nice afternoon with our neighbours over cake and coffee:)
